Jeff Light approched the factory. Beyond the rusted tole booth pole stood the huge iron gates which lay beneath the crumbling factory. In front, the factory stood guarded by the government soldiers strategically positioned waiting for the day when the rebellion would strike, they knew it was soon to come. Beneath the roar of the blast furnaces from the factory there was an echo which rang throughout the streets of London, they were coming.
Jeff Light’s heart fell into his stomach. Whilst being checked by the government soldiers, their attention was drawn to the shouting of the rebellion, they had struck early. Jeff Light had been employed by the rebellion to infiltrate the factory and open the gates. Jeff thought this was it, he was rushed out of the car and into the factory. It had worked, not as planned but right now all he could do was improvise. He needed to wait, wait until the men had left and then he could make a dash for the gate control room. A tannoy sounded, all the men in the factory rushed out In a sudden flash, this was his chance. Jeff dashed for the door marked ‘Gate Control’, he smashed in with his shoulder and slammed the door behind him.
Jeff leant against the door to catch his breath, he was now in the gate control room, there was a meet matter of minutes before is mission was complete. He turned around and immediately he noticed the pistol on the table
