Control and poetry

1. Across the border
2. listen, wait, did the guard call your name, or was it in your head?
3. Beyond the border gate you see the new land, the new place you would now call home.
4.You hear your mother cry out your name, but she was lost amongst the many crowds of migrants all sharing the same desperation to escape the country.
5.Between the heads of the many people you see your mother, huddled into the small space of the border gate and your two sisters.
6. You begin to barge your way through the immense amount of drenched, damp men and women, you find your mother, knee hight, crying at the lost of her daughter.
7. Within a flash you leap into your mothers arms,

2nd person

Listen, you can hear the rustle of the leafs, wildlife surrounds you. You can hear the branches above you snap as a bird lands from a majestic flight above the towns and cities from which you reside. Your senses on point, you are not frightened nor scared, you are ready and poised, waiting. You hush, waiting for a sound, you hear me. Your body turns without a single noise made. You stair at me, with such a deathly glare my body is frozen in place. The gleaming sun bares down on my face, yet you fell nothing but cold darkness throughout your body
